Yeah, definetly heartbreaking for a spurs fan.

Also, damn at the way he runs out of the tunnel after making that shot.
Almost as if he thought Spursfans are going to murder him.

High: drafting Duncan and winning that first championship in '99.... Robinson, Avery, Elliott and crew finally got their title

Low: Spurs losing perennially in the 90's, Spurs losing in 04 after Fisher's dagger, and losing for the first time in the Finals in '13 to the Heat

They really were man. Even if they didn't win though, you just knew they were leaving everything out on the court. Not like that bullshit last season.

Seeing alot of Spurs fans comment in this thread.

Well, I guess that being in 'Contention' for 20 years leads to alot of dramatic highs and lows. Being so close to winning it all, or at least being in the discussion every year can be mentally straining on a fan. Every year is a roller coaster.

But I mean, any fan would want that kind of 'difficulty'.
Sometimes in a way the most aloof fans are those of the mid tier teams, (Hawks, Nuggets and such)

I can see why Spurs/Lakers fans would go through alot of highs and lows due to the amount of times they've been up there and lost/won in the previous decade.

    Wizards.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8qhHWGNxyw

High point: The shot Gilbert Arenas makes at about 11:05.

Low point: Gilbert Arenas bricking 2 FTs about 12:46; Damon Jones hits the series-winning shot about 13:34.

To me, the Wizards franchise has still not recovered. We're the same team now we were then: a bunch of overrated guards chucking long 2s with 0% chance of making the conference finals. And how is it that a franchise can go this long without a big man who is even decent? (Gortat is decent, fine; but who starts next to him? Does anyone even know? Is Nene still in the league?)

The low point should have been when Jordan took over management and butchered that team.

    Huge Kobe Stan checking in

High: 2000 wcf game 7, 2002 wcf game 6, 2010 finals game 7. Three big games that the refs helped us in. The league gifted us those three games, leading to 3 gifted chips. Thanks David.

Low: 2012 finals game 5. That game was when LeBron surpassed my idol, Kobe. That hurt bad.
