whats the best basketball for outdoor?
I'm pretty sure this has been posted before but I can't find it. Is the neverflat from spalding the best one? Thanks y'all

Re: whats the best basketball for outdoor?
Most people swear by Neverflat, but I prefer just using a regular outdoor ball with grips (I think it's made by Spalding or Wilson) and using a pump every few weeks. I had a Neverflat for a while, but it only lasted like four months before it started to go flat. Oh, and don't get one of the ones with the built in pumps; I had one for like a month and it developed this big ass lump where the pump's supposed to be.

Just go to wal-mart and they have 15 dollar balls which are pretty decent. They all seem to have NCAA on them.

I hate neverflats. They feel like they bounce differently than regular balls. I would just get whatever is cheap.

I scooped up some NCAA ball from Target the other day. Good ball for only 20 bucks IMO. Just stay clear from those pump ones and neverflats like stated above.

Try the Wilson Ultra
they have them for $20 at Sports Authority, awesome ball. you can't go wrong
Wilson Jets are really nice too but they can be expensive/ hard to find
I've heard mixed reviews about the Neverflat. Seems like people either hate it or love it
I reccommend the ultra though

I always go Spalding; they seem to have better durability and grip. For outdoor, it's either the Zi/0 excel ($35), or the Tack-Soft ($25). The tack soft is real sticky and grippy.

The Spalding NBA one has a great feel to it, even if the grip sort of smooths up. I use the Molten FIBA ball though.

They're MUCH smoother than most, but still have excellent grip. Helps my shooting a bit. Don't know why, but it feels much more natural than with rough ones. It's a good buy. A bit pricey, but it is worth every penny. My first lasted around 2 years til it kinda shed out, but it was the GF7 I got, which isn't as good as the GG7. 3 months in and the GG7 still looks like I bought it a week ago.
