At what age did you become fat?

Statistically, like 2/3 of you all on here are fat. But I would say most of you all were skinny at one point.

So when did your metabolism slow down? My most recent ex just got engaged to this big ol fat dude who does magic, but I knew the guy when he was in high school and he wasn't always fat; think hes 30 or 31. So I'm coming up on 28, and actually weigh about 10 pounds less now than when I did in high school (used to work out every day). I drink like 3 Monsters a day, I smoke, I eat shit food, but I've been lucky enough to get an A+ on everything when I go to the doctor or give blood. Resting heart rate of a marathon runner, BP is outstanding, I have zero health issues (thankfully).

So.... at what point is this all gonna go downhill? I see my neighbors who are in their 40's and they're all pretty fat. Just made me think 'I wonder at what age they began to notice it'. Or if they ever noticed it...

I have practically zero body hair. Other dudes my age.. when they get in the pool and their back hair is floating... like wtf?

I was always skinny until my late 20's..28/9 ish. I filled out but was not fat. When I filled out it actually improved my physique. Now I'm finally getting a little gut in my 30's..I'm tall so it's not so bad.

I think the age guys especially start gaining weight with a harder time to lose weight is probably early 30s when it sets in. I've heard that from multiple people. They also say stress and kids definitely adds to it along with 40+ hour work weeks.

Do you workout? I wouldn't worry about it. People get fat when they're 40 cause you can't do nothing for 40 years and stay in passable shape. Believe me, eat however you want, albeit a bit less, and workout and no one will believe how old you are.

This, I remember this guy who used to play basketball occasionally at our gym who looked like he was 28-31 when he asked but when he told us he was 44, we were all nearly mind blown.

most of my buddies started packing the pounds on in their mid to late 20s. even my buddy who was peewee herman skinny his whole life, is starting to balloon up. but i blame that on the bucket of Velveeta he eats half of the nights of the week.

Mid 30's and my metabolism hasn't slowed a bit. I used to think it's because I'm really active. Workout 3 days a week. Play basketball and tennis consistently. But I just came off back surgery where I couldn't do anything but lay down, walk, and eat for 3 months... and I didn't gain an ounce.

Pretty much every one of my childhood friends is at least slightly overweight and almost none of them play active sports. And I don't want to brag, but I still look like I'm in my 20's... outside of my receding hairline.

I'm 21, pretty fit but could definitely lose a good 10-15 pounds, then again that applies to everyone I suppose

i dont have to lie. my girth is above average and my length is an average at 5.75". whats really impressive is that im 5'10 for an asian guy.
