I think this a good idea. After it was discovered the developers for Ground Zero mosque lied about using foreign funds, even more pressure was put against it being built.

Well you could probably audit whomever in France is responsible for the funding and see if they recently received a large cash deposit from a foreign middle eastern entity.

Also it creates more risk for the overseas funders, bc they have to just stick a millin bucks in some other guy's bank account and hope he builds the mosque wth it. If he doesnt, theres really nothing you can do.


It may not be fool proof but it cant hurt. It's at least something.

So... You can audit where funds come from. They can try to money launder their way towards these goals but that's a pretty hefty barrier compared to what it is now.



In a way it's quite disgusting this is what they call "charity" in many poor Muslim countries. Building mosques in rich non-Muslim countries is seen as better charity than taking care of poor people and developing their own country. This seems to be a general trend among politicians in the West in attempts to control the population. If you don't accept all these early 20 male refugees you're a racist!
