The only thing Kobe has on Lebron is shooting when he's hot. I wanted to say better scorer but he really isn't, he's only a better shooter, and not even that, Lebron shoots a better percentage. So the only thing Kobe is better at than Lebron is really only this: when he's feeling it he's pretty unstoppable. But I won't even count the infinite number of things Lebron does better than Kobe on a basketball court.

lets be honest. nothing is irrelevant. just slightly more or less valuable than other things i listed. and nothing that is a positive for one guy and a negative for another guy is considered meaningless.

i almost hate using that picture because i ****in love shaq. he's the diesel and a huge part of my childhood. i'm not taking anything away from him but he and kobe were a duo. it was never about one guy and the shaq carried kobe narrative is so played out. shaq never believed that because it's ****ing dumb

homeboy went 15-1 in the playoffs with shaq in 2001 and averaged more ppg. prime kobe was putting up 36 ppg and carrying smush, kwame and luke walton to the playoffs in the WESTERN conference. i know it's an argument seen 100 times around ISH but it's incredible impressive. kobe's peak was 2001 - 2010, that's crazy long and he won 4 rings in 6 trips to the finals. that's dominance

lebron's definitely been better since 2010 but there's no way you can give the nod to lebron at this point in his career. that would just be dismissing everything kobe's done pre 2006 which is just too short sighted. people here either really forget the frobe or they were never around to see it

if over the next 3 seasons kevin love won finals mvp with 30/15. and lebron averaged 28/6/5 in the playoffs over those 3 years as thee 2nd guy

i'm pretty sure lebron would still get credit

nobody knocks a guys rings if they average mvp type stats

kobes 3 titles as a sidekick had better playoff lines than most mvps

he also saved the 2000 wcf game 7, then saved the 2002 wcf game 7

not to mention averaged 3-4 more ppg than shaq for the first 3 playoff series in 2001
