Top 10 players in the league in 2013-2014

I chose 5 out of several.. You probably would've put at least that same number on here if you had been able to FIND 5 defensive plays from Kevin Durant... And not only that, the best 2 plays you could find were of 6'9 KD blocking 6'0 TJ Ford and 5'11/6'0 Aaron Brooks.. As for Bargnani his D this year has been solid. He's done a very good job against the likes of Dwight Howard, Yao Ming, Dirk, etc etc... And if you'd have watched even 1 Raptors game this season you'd know this.. So hate the guy if you want, but don't talk outta your ass. It's making you look real stupid and ignorant.

It's too hard to predict that right now. Maybe some new guy will come in. Blake Griffen or some other young guys.

One thing i'd like to say, yes I know that Bargnani is my favorite player and that's a part of a reason why I put him on that list, but not the only reason. He's a 7 footer that shoots very efficiently, better than a guy like Dirk, at least from the perimeter. He's finally getting to play consistent starter minutes and the coach has placed him as a C and now he's no longer getting exposed at the 3 spot. He just has that rare skillset and i'd only put one other player in that category and that's Dirk. A 7 footer that can take his man off the dribble, post up, shoot it at a high percentage from the perimeter.. And his defensive game has stepped up siginificantly in the past year. His rebounding numbers are up, he's become a solid shot blocker, and he does a good job holding down post players as well as his improved help D. I don't think it's a stretch to say that 5 years from now when he's had some time to round into form he could be a top 10 player in the league or at the very least top 5 for his position.

Lebron will for sure be #1.
Kobe will be on downside but probably top 15.
Dwayne Wade will be the best SG with Brandon Roy a close second.
Chris Paul will still be the best PG.
Dwight Howard will be the best big man.
Tim Duncan and KG will be done!
Most suprising resurgent 30 year old and above player will be Amare Stoudemire. (That's my bold prediction.)

Nope.. I'd put Kevin Durant in the same category with a guy like Danny Granger.

Then you must think that Granger will also be a top 10 player in 2013-2014.

Dont kid yourself. Durant arguably had a better year than Granger did and it was only his 2nd season. Granger is not the scorer Durant is. He doesnt have the ability or potential to really create for others like I see Durant having. He picks up way too many silly fouls. He just doesnt have that superstar vibe coming from him.

This isnt a knock on Granger either. Those two were probably my favorite 2 players to watch this year besides Amare. Granger has the potential to be a top 10-15 guy year in and out, but he doesnt have the potential of Durant.

Durant could be McGrady in his prime with more efficiency and better 3 point shooting.

I'd probably be talking about how much upside Darko has and how his per-40 stats paint the picture of a future star big man. I'd also write about how scary TMac will be when he's 29 and knows all the tricks of a veteran but still has his athleticism. Probably also say something about how Dwight Howard should be about to emerge as a quality starting center about now, too.
