True but Kobe from 00-05 wasn't as good as TMac.

To Kobe's credit he is the better player due to longevity
(Kobe >>> TMac from 06-12) and if he eventually got traded to a team with stacked talent he might end up winning a Ring or two.

Still its very likely he just ends up winning nothing and would go down on GOAT lists only marginally (maybe 5-15 spots) higher then TMac due to longevity.

This is a good point. I suppose he very well may have won a few titles, but not with the Hornets. He would've tried to do so elsewhere.

Even before draft, every teams have already known KB wanted to play @ Big market.

For example, Nets picked Kerry Kittles. Why they didn't pick KB ? Kittles was better than KB ? No. 1990's Nets was really bad team after dying of Drazen.

This was probably the biggest impact trade in NBA history, not only for the fact that Kobe accomplished all that he has.......but for the fact that if he was in Charlotte the team wouldn't have moved......that is HUGE!!!!!

That is not true. He was drafted by the Hornets on behalf of the Lakers. He has publicly stated that he would have played for the Hornets if Charlotte had drafted him. I would love to think that the city would have built a new arena for Shinn, BUT I wish the league would have just made Shinn buy a new team and keep the Hornets in CLT rather than promising the 'Cats.
