'08 Finals, Game 6 - The Lakers lost by 39.
Here is how Kobe started the Game.

    End of 1st Quarter
    Kobe - 11 points, 4 Made FGs
Rest of Lakers - 9 points, 1 MADE FG

And it all went downhill from the 2 Quarter
Halftime - Lakers down by 23
    Kobe - 4 Made FGs
Rest of Lakers - 4 Made FGs

Kobe alone had the same amount of Made FGs as the rest of his teammates combined at Halftime.

Kobe had as much made Field Goals as the rest of your teammates combined at Halftime both those games

Nice try though but you failed.
This thread and you disregarding games for no legitimate reason is a failure.

Go ahead and post his FG%'s in those games while you are at it.

Interesting that you give Kobe a "free pass" in blowout losses in which he generally played poorly, but then rip a Chamberlain who was dominating in close losses.

Im sure if I decided what I did and did not want to count I count make a lot of things look a lot of ways....

This reminds me of sir charles posting some garbage about Barkleys 2point shooting percentage as if Barkley missing 1500 threes didnt justify consideration.

Why do people even count the games in '03 and '04 against Kobe if they say Kobe wasn't even the first option/best player on his team?

Presumably the same reason so many who said Wade was the man in 2011 still talk about Lebrons performance.

Well, we know he's a great FT% shooter. It's also an uncontested shot.

Plus, once you know FGM-FGM you can pretty much figure out how a player got his points. TS% is just too general.

Has anybody ever noticed that Kobe stans are the ONLY people who will exclusively use TS%?

I've never seen people list other people's stats where they're fans ONLY use TS% and completely omit FG%.

Have you ever seen a LeBron, Jordan, Shaq, Hakeem, Wade, etc... fan list their stats in an obvious agenda post and ONLY include TS% while omitting FG%???

Yes. TS% is a better indicator of scoring efficiency than FG% is. I'm going to guess that you don't post or read any other basketball sites other than ISH.

just curious what is the final point differential for it to be termed a blowout?

I would think that being down by 23 going into the 4th quarter, in a 13 point loss might qualify. And I would have to believe losing games by margins like 110-82, 121-90, 122-86, and 131-92 would also qualify.

Shaq has the best TS% in elimination games than any player in the NBA since 1991 sans Dirk. And at a 28 PPG clip. From 98-03, 33 PPG. Wonder what it calculates out to for that. 60%+? That's justice.
