It would've been great for 01 Sixers fans if the season ended after game 1 of the final, cause it went down hill FAST after that game, they straight up got DOMINATED, they got rolled up and SMOKED

No they didnt. 3 out of the 4 games were close. You can send thank you cards to Rick Fox, Derek Fisher, Robert Horry for hitting big shots at critical moments in a game when the Sixers would cut the lead from 2-4pts. They would throw it to Shaq, he kick it out and boom hit a 3 or swing pass to an open Laker...boom hit a 3. Kick lead back up. I watched the series, you studied boxscores. The difference between a real fan and a pretender.

you do know that the refs helped your 76ers get past the Bucks?

right?

very true. while the lakers won four in a row, none of them were blowouts, and the sixers defense was crazy that year, as was ai. it was a competitive series for sure.

If I recall, didn't Shaq get away with murder against Mutombo? I remember a very physical series where he was using his elbows and forearms like crazy.

Also, it seemed like people were hyping Lue as being the "A.I stopper." I mean, he played DECENT, but don't he really shut him down or anything in that series.
