Default Good Shoe to Play Ball In

    Hey everyone,

I need a shoe with a good grip at the bottom of it where i can play basketball (indoor) in hence the name of the thread :)

I would like the price to stay under $120 if possible.

I play shooting guard if that helps with a shoe choice.

    Thanx everyone.

I wouldn't recommend buying it cause they can easily cause turned ankles, but I have always played better in K-Swiss. They're just so comfortable I think that's why I find them easy to play in.

Uh, i really didn't think k swiss made basketball shoes.

I am looking for some nikes or maybe some jordans.

I was looking around and i found the addidas pro models. I have heard good things from them. I really don't like the low top ones because.....well they are low top.

    What do you think?

Dress shoes, they give you that extra boost when jumping

haha at kswiss dude. seriously? lol

I never undersood why people create threads on wanting to know what shoes to get. Go to a shoe store and try on a few pairs...it's really that simple. Take whatever pair you like the best.

Well personally, i like to ask what others like concerning shoes. I really want to get a good idea of what good shoes are. When i go to the shoe store, i will try on some shoes but i will have a good idea on what shoe i would want. Just a little thing i like to do.

Ya i heard the Huraches were very comfortable. The second image looks like pro models. Those are the shoes i want to get but i have never tried them on before. I don't think i saw those shoes at foot locker though. Maybe i didn't see them.

Which big brand store do you think would have addidas pro models?

Top shoes out right now for Guards:

    1. Nike Zoom BB2
    2. Nike Zoom BB1
    3. Team Wade's Converse
    4. Kobe 3's
    5. Huraches

The top 3 are very nice, followed closely by 4 and 5. Right now though, the Zoom BB2, found at Eastbay for 100.00 ish... are easily the BEST grip found on an indoor b-ball shoe anywhere, and great cushioning. Fits to your foot like a glove. Very nice shoe.

I can see why someone would ask on a thread what shoes to buy, it's better to get an educated opinion because for 1, you cannot try on all the shoes... shoes like the Zoom BB1 and 2's are not in many stores... nor is the Kobe 3... but you can find all 3 on the internet... Eastbay. If I just went into a store and bought the first pair I tried on I thought was good I would get shafted in the end... I applaud the educated guess.

Wow Thank you. I really like the Zoom BBII.

I have also heard good things about the Jordan CP shoes. Are they a good ballin shoe or are they just meant for style????
