Probably be a really good fit in New York. Wouldn't surprise me to see him put up 18-20 points a game.
Doubt New York\Denver would talk trades for J.R tho.
we have been stacking big guys though, and you are in need of a center? I am not saying we have someone who the Nuggets would want but maybe their front office sees something in one of em.

Nuggets: Ronny Turiaf, Kelenna Azabuike, & Eddy Curry
Knicks: Kenyon Martin, JR Smith
Would the Nuggets do this deal?

Probably not. After a game in the playoffs J.R tweeted something like "You can't win by yourself" or something along the lines of that about Melo. J.R would probably not effect his choice where he'd play at all.
As for that trade. I'd probably do J.R for Ronny straight up. But I'm really low on J.R at the moment so my opinion on that trade wouldn't matter much.

We should.
It helps our chances with Carmelo.
Turiaf has a player option next season, while Kenyon Martin expires.
Carmelo & Kenyon Martin are friends, K-Mart was at Melo's wedding.

I'd do it in a heartbeat. No pun intended.
You can find a hustle big man for much cheaper than Turiaf. Tolliver would cost 1/4 as much and hes a better player IMO.

Like I said any trades involving J.R my opinion will be shit . I'm just sick of waiting for him to mature and really break out year after year. Loads of potential but he'll always end up being a scorer off the bench on a winning team. Add in he's hard to coach and always fighting with our current coach and it's not worth it IMO anymore.
Use to be a fan, not really anymore.
