Uh..no. He's a natural passer, screen setter and defender. Memphis had nobody on offense...raptors have far more. Marc knows exactly when to take his shots and its not often.

Gasol's rarely a volume scorer, he just gets his within the flow of the offense. Philly's trying to make Kawhi pass and he's finding Gasol for easy looks.

Gasol should be the second option.

He was being used in the exact role that he should be like tpols said as a passer/screen setter/defender but against GSW, you're right, he needs to be able to win us at least one game by dominating inside. He's going to be the biggest guy on the floor, he can't just be camped out at 3s like he has been. Against GSW at least.

What exactly do you want Marc to do? He was never known as a scorer in Memphis, from 2012-2019 in Memphis he was a 16 ppg player on 54 TS%, he's not his brother Pau who was a more reliable scorer in his prime. His scoring numbers in Memphis were somewhat high because the Grizzlies were always a below average offensive team who lacked weapons.

Toronto brought him in for his defense, passing, and ability the stretch the floor, not his scoring.

    definitely capable of 15 ppg

getting way too little out of him, not even arguable

A simple eye test will confirm scoring was never Marc's strongest suit.

When Marc has it going he can(or could) be an incredible scorer. There was a season where he was near or at the top of PPP off of post play. The problem is that Gasol can sometimes be completely off. Not something that normally happens with post players but it happens with Gasol.

He has no baseline scoring production that a team can rely on. However, you can always rely on him to be a good defensive presence and facilitator. He's being used fine by the Raptors.
