I'm excited for the "Lakers getting all the calls from Silver" era. Paranoia over "the man" on here is hilarious

Mavs win out and move into the 7th spot swelling with confidence and take down the Thunder in the 2 spot on their way to a miracle run to another title for Dirk who rises up to the heavens as the final buzzer sounds and he sends 40 virgins from heaven to my room and then I wake up and it was just a dream - a dream almost as good as their '11 run to the title.

Stern needs the LA Leakers in the playoffs...we have seen the evidence already!

Of course it is, but it's also not completely absurd to say the Lakers seem to get a lot of calls.
Hell, we saw it in the last Mavericks game. Mavs were up 3 and Dirk clearly got hit on his shot by Artest. Not only is that a huge play, but it led to a technical.
Then a few plays later that make a soft call on Mayo for a shooting foul against Kobe...which leads to another technical.
Conspiracy? Nah...but I don't see that happen all that often to the Lakers...certainly not in the playoffs.

Game. Set. Match.
Re: Playoffs: Jazz, Lakers, or Mavericks. Place your bets!
I wouldn't pencil in wins for the Lakers against Grizz, Spurs, and Warriors. I think the Lakers will be lucky to go 4-4 in their final 8 games, and Dallas will sneak into the 8th seed.

Y'all do know Utah beat the shit out of OKC the last time they played in Salt Lake City, right?
The critical game was @Portland last week. When we won that, I felt reinvigorated. Then we went on a five game win streak, and now I feel very confident. You all are basing your picks based on how poorly the Jazz were playing in March. And I can get that, especially how badly it was. We were horrible.

I predict San Antonio is going to be resting everyone. Memphis could go either way but I think the rest hold firm.
5-3, final record of 43-39
Let me get this straight. The Spurs are going to rest their core starters so that they can set themselves a first round match up against the Lakers?
So in your opinion, the Spurs see the Lakers as a weaker opponent than the Jazz and the Mavs?

They forgot the run they made last year to get the 8th spot. They are playing their best ball. Finally playing Jazz basketball instead of Al ball. Moving the ball. Getting after people defensively. Hayward starting and making plays. Mo getting healthier. Tinsley back in the rotation.

The Spurs don't do things like that. They rest their starters at the end of seasons, every season, without regard to match ups.
You're thinking of Dallas resting starters to play Golden State, and that decision biting them in the ass.
