He'll have learnt a hell of a lot throughout this season. Whether he'll act differently or play better is another matter, but the only way is up now for both him and the Lakers, surely?

Secretly most Lakers fans will want him to stay. They need a scapegoat, however well or badly the team is playing. I think Pau is much more likely to move on rather than Dwight.

I would hope that he looks to improve his game this offseason and bring in some go to moves and post fundamentals so he stops picking up stupid fouls.... he needs discipline, footwork, mental toughness and confidence.... he can do that, he'll be worth a max contract... especially since his health/athleticism should be back to normal by then.
