FMVP =/= team's best player.

Example: Tony Parker was awarded the FMVP in 2007, but was not his team's best player that year through the regular season and play offs. Stephan Curry wasn't awarded the FMVP in 2015, but was his team's best player through the regular season and play offs.

You could make the same argument for Curry commanding so much attention from the Cavs' defense leading to open looks and easy buckets for Iggy, etc. It's a 2-way street. The Warriors needed everything to go right for them to win this title. If the Cavs don't have to double Curry every possession, they can just stay at home on guys like Iggy and he doesn't score his 16 PPG off open looks and breaks to the basket.

Iguodala didn't even do much on defense. He got backed down easily by LeBron every possession. He just isn't strong enough to cover LeBron properly and keep him out of deep position. If LeBron had any sort of a post game, Iguodala would of gotten completely torched.
