I wonder if any animal can beat a rhino. Rhino's aren't exactly the most formidable opponent, but they have the thickest skin and can ram you. Other than a T-Rex, I wonder who can beat the rhino. The rhino isn't the most powerful, but they have defense.
there's a video of a rhino killing a cape water buffalo on youtube.. slow death and not pretty

    Not arguing on Polar Bears.

You do understand we already talked about this.

Its funny how you are trying to teach me about animals.

Been seen that. You realize that was just a bear seeing what was up, and a mother cougar protecting her cubs at all costs right???

I'll give this one to you though. You provided some video proof of something we were debating, and I'll give you credit for it. Unlike you, I want laugh it off, and say it was faked for a nature documentary. For all we know that could've been a just woken up bear wandering around, and it stumbled across a pissed off mother cougar.

If it's to the death, a bear outlasts a tiger. A lot more durable than a tiger.

Yea those are other CATS fighting each other

Why do you not read what I say and make me repeat?

Tigers are smarter then Bears especially when it comes to fighting.

You keep acting like Tigers not going to use his agility and speed and just sit there and get pounded by the bear.

Like I said before just from Intimidation alone Tiger will win most fights.

Now Polar Bear are Fucccken HUGE so they are different story.

Same applies to a Grizzly bear, don't know how much smaller a brown bear is from a regular tiger but it should apply to them as well. In the jungle if bear is being hunted a tiger can kill it, but in a head on 1 on 1 duel the bear can crush the tiger when it gets in range.

Did Silverback Gorilla not make it out of the 2nd round? Is this just bear vs tiger matchup?

Yes, but the underlying point is, wild predators don't want to risk an injury. A small injury can equal death.

Wild animals don't usually "fight to the death" unless they're pack animals.

It's just to easy to get hit by a cat swinging it claws. The bear isn't just take the slashes and charge at the cat. It's not worth it. It's too much of a risk for no reason. It's better to just leave.

Bears aren't even a particularly territorial animal. It's better off just leaving. It's not like a cat who has a home territory it needs to protect. There's not benefit of risking an injury.

OK in relation to speed and agility. What the **** is the tiger going to do? Jump over it's head, and claw strike him while he's in the air?

Seriously. You are vastly over rating a tiger's fighting abilities, and under rating the hell out of how damn quick a bear is.

How is it smarter in combat? Please explain? Bears are one of the smartest land mammals there are. You think because it's big that they're big, dumb oafs?

Since when were tigers some genius mammals?

You also act like the tiger will use some different strategy of fighting than what's evidenced by video footage, and damn near every big cat battle known to man. There aren't any surprise tactics that a tiger has up his sleeves that I know of.

Does this mean Elephant vs Rhino is the duel on the East coast and the winner will face Tiger/Bear in the end?

Are Polar bears and zebras reffing the matchup in the Finals?

You realize that a bear has a much more durable frame, and a hide that can take those cats claws right? A big cat's frame isn't nearly as durable, and able to withstand the blows from a bear in relation to a bear taking blows from a big cat.

We're speaking hypothetically, and assuming that they are facing each other H2H. The bear has all the tools to last longer than a big cat. The big cat's frame just isn't suited to take on a big bear.

The bear also has much better balance. You don't see them flopping around on the ground after receiving a few blows.

Not to mention a blow from a bear is much stronger than a swipe from a cat.

Bear tosses the cat to the ground, and proceeds to chew it's face off.
