Default I'm so sick of the Aaron Rodgers hyperbole...

Reminds me so much of Bran.

Every excuse in the book for this guy.

Never his fault.

Just STFU and stop disrespecting quarterbacks better than him.

He is NOT the GOAT and NEVER will be; not even close.

Aaron Rodgers is probably the most gifted QB ever and he is playing for a poorly run franchise.

My only beef with him is his personality, always bitchy towards teammates and management.

Jennings is still bitter towards Rodgers.

He has the goat talent and skillset. But he has a LONG way to go before he even comes close.

The year they went 15-1 and were 1 and done when the Giants 9-7 team beat them it was like that. He was so frustrated out there and screaming like a maniac if someone didn't make a difficult catch. Couldn't tell if he was screaming at himself or his teammates. But he doesn't strike me as a teammate that everyone loves. I guess it's ok because MJ, Lebron and Brady don't always seem like the best teammates

Brady for the most part is loved by all his teammates, MJ was a prick, there is not denying that and LeBron seems like a good teammate overall, the only player who seemed to have an issue with him was Kyrie but that was because he wanted his own team.

You see Brady and LeBron from time to time yell at their teammates, but at the end of the day you can see their leadership tactics work and they are respected by their teammates.

Rodgers on the other hand gives off a major condescending vibe.

Go watch a 2005 NFL draft video where they follow all the prospects before the draft, Rodgers was being a major prick to Alex Smith, lol.

I watched the 2004 draft video and Big Ben was being a prick towards Eli, probably jealous knowing Eli was gonna be the #1 pick.

Oh lol this was a real thing. Big Ben really wanted to come to New York. His agent looked so heated when they Giants picked up Rivers (and I forgot who the Giants GM was but they said if Eli wasn't going to be traded to them, Big Ben was actually their backup).

Yeah, Rodgers was apparently perceived as arrogant by a lot of the NFL teams. And to be brutally honest, he definitely needed time to sit out and learn. His difference between his mediocre 2005 preseason play and his 2007 Cowboys game after Favre got injured was night and day. He definitely improved as a backup. I don't think he would have succeeded being thrown into the fire right away on what was an okay Packers team in a tough defensive division.

Rodgers was kind of lucky. I do think if he got picked #1 overall, he would have been injury riddled and may have never reached his peak. Let's be real, Alex Smith looked like doo doo in a 49er uniform. It wasn't until he was given a chance on other teams that people saw this guy had Pro Bowl potential and had the capability of carrying a team to the playoffs (but was limited in terms of how far he could take them in the playoffs since he was always considered a pretty "safe" player and rarely took risks).

Packers have been poorly run and they've had so many injury problems over that year. That 15-1 Packers team was nasty, I was in shock when they lost to the Giants but then again the late 2000s/early 2010s Giants was always a confusing team to follow = they would go from being 12-4 to 9-7, 8-8. Win 2 superbowls against the GOAT. Lol and from what I understand, the 1980s/early 1990s Giants were as similar in terms of being terribly inconsistent yet amazing when they won those two superbowls in 1986/1990.

Arron Rogers is probably the most gifted QB in the league.

BUT here is the issue...
The Packers when they had Brett F. thought he could win all the games for them and go to super bowls.
Here in Wisc. the question every year is will they win the super bowl (THIS YEAR)
They are horrible fans , I hate...

The Packers have never realized that it is a team sport.

Brett if he had a team , would of won 4 super bowls.

They have the same mentality for Rogers... win it for us.

Pathetic...
Glad to see them dwell in the cellar.

Patrick Mahomes says hi. Rogers is no longer the most talented player at QB, which thoroughly destroys the narrative that somehow he's the GOAT because he's the 'most talented QB ever'. If that were the case, then Mahomes is the new GOAT. It was always a silly argument.

Mahomes in his 1st year as a starter in the NFL is already putting up a better year than Brady, Montana, or Rogers has ever had.

Mahomes is by far the most accurate QB in scrambling situations in NFL history. (which is a huge skill)

Mahomes avoids sacks better than anyone in the league

Mahomes processes information at incredible speeds and looks like he's been in the league for 30 years the way he reads defensives and makes audibles at the LOS

Mahomes has the worst defense in football yet somehow he's managed to only lose 3 games by a total margin of 7 points.

Mahomes is the best player in football and it's not even remotely close.

MVP in his 1st year and probably superbowl MVP as well. MAHOMES

Wrong. Mahomes has been a revelation, but his performance has no argument against Rodgers in 2011.

When discussing attributes of QBs...Rodgers has a quicker release, better accuracy (on touch throws in particular), and is second to none when it comes to intelligence at the position.

His downfall, as has been stated already in this thread, is his leadership style.

no he doesn't lmao

Tom Brady and Brees are also better Pre snap QBs.

Rodgers' release/velocity/accuracy ratio is one of the greatest ever.

They have similar arm strength but Rodgers absolutely gets rid of the ball faster.

And other than maybe Peyton I've never seen someone so consistently on the money with touch and back shoulder throws along the sideline. He gets the ball exactly where it needs to be very quickly.

Mahomes is like curry in that he's introducing new elements to the game... The no look and left hand passes are absurd. Even rodgers wasn't as dynamic.
