Yeah Mudiay was awful tonight. He needs to improve. Last year it was ok because he was a rookie and was pretty clutch/great at setting the table for others/pretty decent defensively for a rook. Now tho his scoring has to take the next step. Needs to make shots.

Not sure why you left out Mudiay's 6 dimes tho. Tonight looked how I thought there rookie seasons would go. Mudiay the slightly better floor general but Russell that much better scorer. Didn't turn out that way year 1 but Russell showed up tonight. We'll see how things go the rest of the way.

Nuggets young core looked better than the Lakers overall tho outside of Mudiay/Russell. Nurkic was destroying L.A. Lots of turnovers but couldn't keep him off the glass. Ingram looked awful. We have more young guys starting/core yet Denver should win more games this year again.

Scrubiay is a bum compared to Russell who's a top 5 PG already in this league

Russell should be the guy in L.A too. Randle isn't that kinda player and Ingram is just waaaay too raw and a few years away if SL/preseason have shown anything. Clarkson imo is a little overrated so think Russell could potentially lead this L.A team. Chance is there anyways.

Mudiay on the other hand I'm not sure where he'll sit with Denver. He has lots of potential but some serious flaws. There's a good chance he's the 3rd best young player on Denver this year behind Jokic/Nurkic. It's going to be the opposite of last year where Russell was kinda behind Kobe and got put on the bench and Mudiay was forced to be a starter and kinda carry things at times. Talent is there but unless he puts it together he could maybe take more of a backseat this season in terms of trying to score.

That fact that you expect a PG with 66 starts to be able to play well without 4/5ths of his starting lineup is sad tbh

    *Goes to react*

Nvm. I honestly expect to see trash like that, from the Lakers fans on this forum though... How depressing.

Edit: WAIT, hang on... The Nuggets won anyway? Looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooooooooool. Those pre-season empty stats, in a LOSS to the Nuggets. Lmao.

Gonna be tough for Mudiay without a consistent jumper.

Ingram's shots aren't falling, but he is making his presence known on the defensive end. Not really worried about him. His shots will eventually find its way inside the basket

Not surprised about Dlo. He's going to be pretty good scorer in the league, but what surprised me was his defense. Luke is doing a good job with the team so far
