    Default Sixers turnover problems continue

The Sixers have a bad habit of giving the ball to their opponents. Their average of 17.2 turnovers per game is the highest in the NBA. The Sixers tied a season worst with 26 on Monday night.

Rookie point guard Michael Carter-Williams had six turnovers. His last one, with 5.8 seconds left and the Sixers trailing by four, crushed any chance of a comeback. Nets guard Shaun Livingston stole the ball, was fouled, and made a pair of foul shots to make it a six-point game.

Turnovers and FG% has been a point of concern for MCW since his days in Syracuse. It shows up in pretty much all of his scouting reports. Taking care of the ball is generally taught by experience and he should shore that up in the next few years.

He has a knack for the game and IMO still ROY, but he definitely has a long way to go. It will be interesting to see if he becomes a top PG in the league or meander with the middle of the pack PGs in the following years.

He might be a victim of his initial success like Irving -- it's funny how these things turn out sometimes.
