Which local sports team also had Red and Navy colors with their logo being an A.

Why not? He's from the South, and he clearly wants in on some sort of Big 3 situation so he can have a shot at some rings. He's balking at resigning with the Clippers, and even though he'd like to play for the Knicks, at some point he'll have to choose between being famous for playing in MSG and actually trying to win something in this league.

Not it doesn't, it has a lot of history due to the fact that it's an old franchise, but with a grand total of ZERO conference finals appearances, it's a drab one.

The Heat sold out every game last season, and had more fans total in that building during the regular season than the Knicks did.

Only if Howard gets that stupid mindset out of his head that he will only play for the Nets long term.

Re: Josh Smith is playing the "Wade" role to start a super team
Here is most likely what is going to happen:
Well... I'm not sure that Harris/Teague/Smith/Horford/ZaZa and Morrow is enough to take the Hawks out of the loto. I mean, they did win 60% of their games despite Al being out basically the entire year and everyone else being banged up. Which means that at the end of the season they could get left with a crappy mid-upper first round pick and nobody to take their money.
Harris was a poor fit for Utah... But he can still be a 15/7 guard, maybe Teague gets a little better and Josh Smith and Al can still have really good years and the team can still push for 40 something wins.

Re: Josh Smith is playing the "Wade" role to start a super team
I think Dwight and Josh Smith would work extremely well together. Smith is a perimeter oriented big on both defense and offense, but is also a fantastic help defender, and Dwight is of course the best rim protector in the league. You could put homeless people around those two and they'd have an awesome defense.

That would be a great team. It would be nice to see another team compete for the championship.

Youd be kidding me if you believe Josh Smith is as good a player as Dwayne Wade.
