Re: GT: L.A. Lakers @ OKC Thunder
With Durant and Ibaka this Thunder team has to be on the of the best rebounding teams of all time. Imagine running
PG: Westbrook
SG: Durant
SF: Ibaka
PF: Kanter
C: Adams
Bench: McGoaty

God I hope everyone can stay healthy next year and we can re-sign Kanter. If they do this team is going to do some historic things offensively. Morrow is a perfect fit alongside Durant and Westbrook, as is Kanter's low post offensive presence, and Kanter's comically bad defense would be about as well-masked/well-covered on a healthy OKC team as any team in the league.

Just another game where some random scrub goes off against us. This shit happens often. Canaan, Moore, now this guy.

In March he is averaging like 13 points on 41% shooting, but of course today he goes off for 30 on 63%.

He's a ROOKIE. Before today's game he was averaging ~10/3/3 (~16/5/4 per 36). He's far from a scrub.
And as to "perimeter players always go off on OKC"-did you guys ever consider maybe your perimeter defense sucks? It can't just be bad luck every single game.

It may suck, but the law of averages still applies. Shots don't just go in at such a ridiculous rate just because you don't play perfect defense.

Being a rookie doesn't exclude you from being a scrub. As of now, he's a scrub.

This. Yes, OKC's defense, especially without Ibaka, Durant, and Roberson, is bad. But the rate at which opposing teams have made perimeter and/or tough shots this year has gone well beyond the point of absurdity and into the point of being just comically, hysterically frustrating.
