The point is that Kareem is a decent human being who has always been aware of social issues and taken stance while Jordan doesn't give a shit about anybody other than himself. Kareem actually tried to made money but failed at it, you can read about his real estates failures when he lost millions in the 80's. Marketing companies didn't give a fk about him once he retired, so he took a different route.
