Granted, the 60s had the highest pace of any decade, and Wilt got more FGA as a result. He also was allowed to play more minutes. But he still led the league in scoring every year over guys like West and Baylor.

And there is the playoffs, although again he changed roles. So during his primary scoring years, his playoff averages were around Jordan's. They might have been higher if Boston wasn't always in the way, but that's kind of like complaining about Detroit being in Jordan's way.

How come Wilt, "the greatest scorer of all time" was not asked to be the team's number one scorer every time? If he was the best, why would someone else take his shots?
