How does Golden State respond next season?
I seriously don't think any of the players have slept yet. Steve Kerr sleeps like a baby though.
But man, I know this one really stings. Probably more than any others Finals for a losing team ever. And I don't think it's the up 3-1 and losing that is killing them. It's the 73-9 record and not winning.
How do they come back from this?

They should be fine. They are still the best team in the league and favorites to win 65+ and the championship.

I would agree with you if they didn't already have a ring.
They already have a ring -- the brutality of the loss is SO much easier for it.
GSW will respond by playing Cleveland in the finals again next year and I will be watching.

hopefully they take it easier in the regular season and pace themselves better for the playoffs. Dunno what they really need that could help them improve, maybe someone who can get high percentage points from the high and low post? A Pau Gasol type, only younger. Dunno if anyone like that is available.

Be a little more humble and don't make mental mistakes.. like getting suspended or being overly cocky saying you're better than one of the best Lakers dynasties of all time.

Tuck their tails in between their legs and only win 50-60 games.
