Unless his FT% declines in fourth quarters or when he's intentionally fouled, hacking a guy who is currently shooting 60% on FTs equates to 1.2ppp, which would be a really bad tactic. Better off giving him an open 18 footer. Much better play imo.

That, and he's a career 74% shooter from the line, who until recently was always good for 75%+ in a season. It's possible he got whatever Iguodala developed a few years back, but I certainly hope not.

Yeah I have no clue what's going on with his FT% this season. I would be surprised if he isn't at 70% by year's end, but that assumes his shooting reverts to mean soon I guess.

Maybe it stems from a tightness in his back or other core muscles involved in longer range shooting as opposed to layups?
