Default Enes Kanter, gone from Utah

    Enes Kanter, gone from Utah

At least in public, he was Mr. Happy-to-Be-Here for most of his time in Utah. Then he started occasionally skipping out on post-game interviews. Recently, it was a full-blown mutiny. Now he

Jazz trade Enes Kanter to Thunder

Kanter and sharpshooting forward Steve Novak were sent to the Thunder in a deal that came together right before the 1 p.m. MST trade deadline Thursday.

In exchange, the Jazz acquired Thunder bigs Kendrick Perkins and Grant Jerrett, an OKC future protected first-round pick, a 2017 second-rounder from Detroit, and the NBA rights to 7-foot-2 German center Tibor Pleiss.

I was disappointed Champagne Super Novak left.

Kanter never did much from me. I didn't like picking him over Valanciunas in the draft.

Kanter could rebound but never improved his scoring.

And it's appalling what his defensive numbers were, when he was on the court.

The joke about Kanter was his pump fake. He pumped too much.

definitely blew it there. Val was the obvious choice. I'd guess Lindsey would have took him. O'Conner passed on Splitter for Almond too. Didn't like stashing guys in Europe.

    Novak had to go!

Rebounding was the one thing that didn't improve after looking elite as a rookie. Added a 3 last year. Played better defense.
