Pip was very good, but he wasn't as good David Robinson (who led his team in all 5 categories but never in the same year as when he led in assists, Rodman led in rebounds), Hakeem Olajuwon or Shaq.
And Pippen didn't collect those totals in "the year Jordan was out", at least not the full season Jordan missed (he did so in 94-95, the year Jordan was fully absent for was 94-95). In that year Horace Grant led the Bulls on the boards. In that year too he's probably behind the 3 centers, though in this year especially (both probably) he has a strong claim to the 4th best player and best non-center status.

He played 77 games that year and averaged 18.6ppg, 16.0rpg, 4.6apg.
Charlie Scott also averaged 4.6apg that year. However, Scott only played 31 games.
