regardless, since when does facing a talent deficit mean you can't win? anytime the 80's Celtics or Lakers lost in the playoffs, the team that beat them had less talent... lebron has no excuse for losing.. no one felt sorry for mj in the 80's - they just expected him to elevate and develop a great team, which he did better than anyone that's ever done it
Lebron did not have a sufficient supporting cast in 14, and 18. It

The narratives this guy comes up with are hilarious. If Jordan had the same exact team as LeBron did in 2014 and loss he'd blame it on how bad his teammates were. (hell...they are already horrible when he wins it 1 on 5 ) Your opinion on a situation basically changes by the player it is. If it's a player you like (Jordan) the situation could be this way, but if it's a player you hate (LeBron) it's another way. And you wonder why are universally considered a clown on this board by basically everyone, but the worst posters.

How so? He had the best 2nd option in the conference and his cast was better than say 09' Dwight's, or his own cast from 07' that made the Finals, or AI/Kidd's casts from 01-03'...

basically, many weak casts made it before lebron teamed up from 2011-2017, so lebron's run in 18' was just a return to the norm of that weak conference.. ditto kawhi's run last year

Having a 2nd option that's been getting 21/5/5 all year can't be complained about (Wade was getting prime Pippen numbers in the regular season and through the ECF)

accordingly, one series where Wade gets 3rd or 4th option numbers shouldn't kill the team's chances, especially for a 4 HOF team with stars like Bosh - but unfortunately, Bosh lacked the capacity to step up and produce a 2nd option load because he'd been reduced to spot-up shooter via bron-ball..

So the Bosh marginalization was a big factor in the team not reaching it's original lofty expectation and also weaker competitiveness in the 14' Finals.. but the reality is that Wade's fluke bad series against the Spurs stems from his poor fit with Lebron, which tends to matter little against a weak East, but shows up in the Finals against better game-planners..

It's a documented fact that the 13' Spurs used Wade/Lebron's poor shooting against them by coming off one to help on the other's drives, so they would pass to each other for open spot-ups (their weakness).. see the widely-known stats/source here..

The Spurs clearly improved on their strategy the next season and shut down the Heat team in 2014, including Wade... The Heat produced 7 points less per 100 possessions in those Finals versus the regular season.. an extra 7 points by the Heat would've made the Spurs work harder and taken the edge off the Spurs attack, so we could have a real series..

But Lebron's long-dribble style has never won the attrition battle versus great ball movement - heck, Stan Van Gundy and Steve Kerr wanted the ball in his hands/didn't double him because it's easier to guard his long dribble than ball movement - Stan said as much "we wanted him to go 1-on-1 and get stats in the 09 ECF"

lebron had a 2-time defending champion with 3 HOF teammates

mj had 8 seeds and real lottery casts that he'd dragged to a low seed (teams that were lottery the prior year).. of course, Lebron never carried a lottery cast to a low seed (failed in 04', 05', 19'), and only made the playoffs with good teams/high seeds

ultimately, no one cared that mj didn't have a good cast - he was expected to "elevate" his team like bird and magic, so he did

at comparing Lebron with two all-stars in 2014 to Jordan's 80s Bulls it's not like they weren't a 4th quarter choke away from starting the series 2 - 0 on the road with 3 straight at home... he got outplayed by Kawhi Leonard in the 3 home losses.

It's not a miracle that Lebron made the Finals in 2018. He did get pushed to the brink by the Pacers and Celtics, Boston did look better and I believed they could win due to their defense but their lack of experience showed in a Game 7, same happened to Indiana when Lebron left for the locker room near the end of the 3rd and Love + Hill took over the game without him. That 2018 Cavs team was stacked 1-10. Rodney Hood was a starter on a WCF team next season, Grant Hill and Kyle Korver are currently playing on the best team in the league, Love is a great shooter/rebounder as well and was key to them sweeping Toronto with how he could play the 5 and dismantle their defense.

They had a lucky draw with injuries/opponents in 2018. A healthy Boston squad with Irving beats them, they'd likely have lost if they matched up against the Sixers.

I honestly would love to be a fly on the wall of your brain. It must drive you crazy to know that LeBron will always be considered greater than Kobe all time and that was already established years ago. The fact that he's now on the team you cheer for must drive you crazy. You want your team to succeed, but you want Bran to fail so....How deliciously amusing...and pathetic to care about such shite. These cats are being made millions of dollars to play a silly game, mate.

You'd think the Lakers just won the chip the way ImKobe, Picknroller, and AirTupac celebrate every Lakers loss or anytime bron has a bad game.

Crazy to think that he team hopped 3 times and created multiple superstar teams and still was an underdog for most of his finals.

    Says a lot about him

    Sure, "debatable"
"added" is a strong word, they had to get rid of multiple key players from that 2016 RS to get him.

Remember, the series is tied 2-2 if Lebron doesn't choke in Game 3. That 2017 Cavs roster was better than the 2016 one offensively. Love and Irving were healthier in the Playoffs and they went 10 deep as opposed to 9 the year before. Irving and Love were also better in the Finals. J.R actually shot lights out in that series. Cavs only struggled to score once in that series (Game 1). KD was a difference in that series but Curry was also healthy as opposed to playing on one leg the year before.

Why was 34/12/10 not enough for LeBron to win?

Because players defended by James were scoring at a ridiculous rate, to a tune of 60%FG or above I believe because he was on KD a lot and KD averaged 35 ppg on 70%TS .

KD was 13/20 for 31 points at one point while being guarded by James in that series

    Didn't read.

Probably some retarded shit anyway about how they lost superstar Harrison Barnes and replaced him with one of the GOAT scorers
