Not so much he's technically a bad defender, he's just slow footed from age and lazy most of the time.

When hes engaged and blocking shots on help defense, he's a totally different defender. He does get backed in by big bodied physical guys like nene etc but it's not from a technical issue.

Because he's old, he probably only has the gas for 1 good defensive game every few.

Pau gets more undeserved shit than any other player. Duncan doesn't get shit on like this because he's already a top ten player. For someone like Pau you get trick ass bitches slamming him because they're afraid to admit that he gave Kobe the help he needed while also being an elite player.
