Remember when Houston made a mistake and let Parsons go
Houston traded Lin and Asik and let Parsons go in FA, and this board was laughing. Remember the predictions? 7th seed in the west, 8th seed in the west, a few on here even predicted Houston to miss the playoffs. Remember when Morey was the biggest loser ever and got out GM'ed by the Mavs, and he signed his own termination papers when he tried to replace Parsons/Asik/Lin with Ariza?

They did **** up. Badly. There's zero doubt about it. Parsons and Asik are quality players.
But you can't blame us for not expecting James Harden to turn into the greatest player of all time in just one offseason.

I read good things from the reports during the Team USA camps. I think mixing with the likes of Durant and Paul George made him realize you can't be a superstar and only play one side of the ball.

They couldn't afford all of those players.

Damn we're doing really good for a team that's supposed to miss the playoffs according to ISH.

Ariza is a way better player than Parson. Parson has no game and is overpaid
Let's also not exclude that D mo and Beverley are playing great as well

I didn't think the Rockets would be THIS good but I was in the minority of non-Rockets fans who steadfastly believed they'd make Playoffs

Ariza is more important for them right now. His shot has fallen off a cliff but his perimeter defense is awesome. Gets a lot of steals in the halfcourt too.

ariza has sucked this year. if he can't start shooting the way he did last year the rockets will struggle in the post season again. the teams offense depends way too much on harden right now.

Funnier how about half this board had the Rockets not even making the playoffs before the season started.

Ariza's shooting is off I agree, but his defense is so important to this team. He really sets the tone. He needs to start hitting 3s tho
