Last sentence but I was going off memory. So I actually haven't found someone who said my quote (hyperbole on my part).

That thread and the OP is bad, though.

He had 3 hall of famers in Boston, and the offense was a clogged toilet shithole. They only won because of defense, this guy can't run any offense.

Would take Derek Fisher over this guy every day.

I know this isn't his system and he can't play with these guys who needs the ball in their hands to be successful. He's leaving this summer to a team that suits his needs. He'll be back next year.
When will you guys realize no team has a need for Rondo. The dude cannot lead a great offense and he's a point guard.

Celtics fans still love Rondo. Even though Boston did better without him this year.

what does that have to do with this series? Do you expect them to win a playoff series with Raymond Felton as their starting point guard?

What does Rondo's bad play since putting on a Mavs uniform have to do with this series?

    Damn. That's a tough one.

To be honest, they weren't winning with either point guard.

    Mavericks are too weak defensively.

there are so many variables during the regular season, comparing W/L in the context that you are is just dumb if you're trying determine what works in the playoffs

that's like saying the 2014 Nets were going to beat the HEAT in the playoffs because they were 4-0 against them in the regular season.

Rondo is their best option at point guard, he consistently raises his game in the post season. Let him do his thing.

Watch him brick freethrows, jumpshots, stagnate an offense, play bad defense and whine like a pansy?

I think Rick & co will pass.
