Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving has been named an NBA Eastern Conference All-Star, the league announced. The voting for reserves was done by the Eastern Conference head coaches.

The 6-3 guard will make his third All-Star appearance, while becoming the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to be selected three times (LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Isiah Thomas). In his first two All-Star outings, he has averaged 23.0 points on .714 (20-28) shooting from the field, a .500 (6-12) mark from beyond the arc, 4.0 rebounds and 9.0 assists in 29.5 minutes.
