    Default Dribbling with wrist weights

Has anybody actually tried doing this? How effective is it on your handles?

What you mean? There are many dribbling programs online that have drills where you use wrist weights and gloves.

One example is the Skip To My Lou dribbling program

I wouldn't call it a stupid idea, but at best it will improve stamina in the arms and wrists. I don't think it will improve your handling ability with the ball

Not good for your wrists at all lol. And it wouldn't make sense for it to have any improvement on your ability to physically dribble a basketball lol.

I make my team do defensive drills with wrist weights, because it makes keeping your hands up easier when they're off, and improves their reactions. Not much weight though, you can destroy someones shoulder with even five pounds.

I don't see how dribbling would be helped. You want to keep the ball close to the ground anyway, letting your hands drop should be natural. I do encourage a lot of forearm curls and extensions in weight training, but that's different.

If it works great. Let us know.

Stop tryna take shortcuts, watch the Pistol Pete Ball Handling and Dribbling video and get to work, if you don't have it I'll give it to you, but you must learn his drills and get to work.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY,I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM.
