Default The Unfortunate TRUTH about Steph Curry that is UNDENIABLE and TROUBLING

Steph Curry is the GREATEST SHOOTER WE HAVE SEEN IN RECORDED BASKETBALL HISTORY. Let me just get that out of the way.

    Now the interesting stuff...

While most superstars in the NBA have some type of physical advantage over their opponent, (ie: strength, height, quickness, speed, vertical and etc) Curry usually doesn't. His first step is average at best. Blow by speed in sub par, but is highly exaggerated due to the threat of his jump shot. He usually finishes at the rim in a finesse way that requires an average vertical. Therefore, when the game gets physical, and the refs are swallowing their whistles, he becomes VERY ineffective.

But what no one is talking about is how this guy DOESNT FLOP in the midst of physical play.

THIS IS HIS ACHILLES HEEL. There's no head snapping, laying down on the court for 20min after falling, flailing, helicopter flops after hard screens and etc.

Him and Westbrook are more alike than we'd care to admit. Neither one of them flops or exaggerates contact, but their bodies couldnt be ANYMORE different.

Westbrook LIVES at the rim and seeks out contact.
Westbrook fights through the hardest moving screens...illegal or not.
Westbrook forces the zebras to make calls on both ends of the court.

But Westbrook is Westbrook...he doesn't have to flop due to his athletic advantages over 99% of basketball players in the world.

Curry's advantages are neutralized against the Westbrooks of the world even though both of them aren't flopping to get to the line.

The difference is Curry MIGHT HAVE TO START FLOPPING ala CP3, Lebron, Tony Parker, Ginobli and etc if he wants to have a chance to remain competitive and keep the opponents defensive intensity at bay.

few stars don't do some acting job whether it's flopping or flailing. It's down to the guys you listed and Melo. Ofc everyone will exaggerate a charge on the defensive end however since it's stupid not to.

All true. And it's a credit to Curry to having reached such heights without any physical advantages that almost every other great has.

And he's not a flopper. It's just not him.
