Pau is still very serviceable if used correctly. He's also a great piece for teams that want to contend right now.

Miami or OKC would easily give up a first round pick for Pau.

i was talking about the lakers side of it. the question at hand was what does keeping gasol do for the lakers.

Trade for an injury ravaged guy averaging a career low in mpg getting paid 21M this season and 23M next season. By all means, make that happen. The brilliance of that GMing would make the likes of Otis Smith even blush.
