I agree, especially seeing him above Aldridge... that was unexpected.

That is less than his usual numbers I believe.

He just doesn't want to be an offensive focus anymore, even though he's still capable. Even in decline his midrange is money.

LMA had 500 more attempts though, and I'm sure his were probably contested more.

Dirk is just a midrange machine. And combine the degree of difficulty with most of his jumpers make him untouchable. Nearly EVERYONE else on that list do not "ceate" their own midrange shot. They get it from another player drawing double teams. But Dirk's shot is him from the post up. Just unreal.

True. That's also what "makes" players like Dirk or Bird(who was always more of a terrific all-around/versatile, stretch 4).

He's a midrange murderer. Nasty jab step combined with that fact that no one wants to get too close to him and catch an elbow or shoulder from the beast that is david West.

2 years back he hit 3 straight midrange j's to ice my Wiz and I was just sitting there (in my great seats) with my jaw on the floor of the Verizon center.

Interesting. Love takes less mid-range shots than I thought and his FG% is not impressive at all.

Boozer and Gasol I'm probably the only Bulls fan who is not happy about the Gasol acquisition.
