Exclamation Westbrook had 45 offensive rebounds in the playoffs last year. LeBron had 14.

How was there THAT big of a disparity between the two in that regard?

Miami doesn't go for offensive rebounds much...they usually put more of an emphasis on getting back

Lebrons rebounding numbers are so overrated.

Offensive rebounds are a better way of determining who is the better rebounder, except of course for guys who camp out at the 3p line

WB> Lebron when it comes to rebounding.

Just curious though... what does it mean to say that someone's rebounding numbers are overrated? Are there certain situations where you shouldn't be getting the rebound? Is it even possible to stat pad rebounds? You get a defensive rebound to avoid an extra possession for the opponent... How can rebound #s be overrated?

Come on man, you can't expect a Kobe stan to say anything that actually makes sense. Same idiots who say being efficient is overrated, cause maximizing your team's possessions and preventing fast breaks is bad!

    Because offensive rebound>defensive rebound
Let's say 2 players both average 8rpg, the first one has 5def+3off, the second one averages 8def+0off
Can we say the latter is overrated compared to the former?

I sort of get how a big can "steal" or "statpad" rebounds...(not contesting shots at the rim etc..) but i have no clue how a wing player does it...especially since if im the heat id much rather see lebron come down with it and start a fast-break than to see Bosh grab it and pass it to chalmers...makes no sense
