It's official. Playoff mode deactivated

It's very sad.

What sticks out the most in my mind was all the excitement before the season started, Lonzo ball talking to the media about what it's been like with Lebron so far. Everyone was talking about them possibly making it to the conference Finals, but Lonzo's expectations were championship for this year.

Rondo said that he expected to make it to the NBA Finals, and to win now.

The hype was so big. The excitement was through the roof. Everyone celebrating Magic, and how he's bringing Showtime back with the signing of Basketball Man.

What's worse is that playoff mode didn't even work, Lebron is 3 - 9 since activating playoff mode.

Did anyone see this happening? Does playing in the West makes so much of a difference?

The disappointment is too much to handle, due to the cringe emotion.

Most fans had them booked for a playoff spot.

I actually had LA going to the WCF vs GSW.

One could use injuries as an excuse...but that's all it really is. An excuse.

The reasons they didnt make it were:

Injuries
Western Conference competition

They weren't getting past the Warriors, and the Rockets have the MVP coming off a 65 win season and close WCF, so why would you have such crazy expectations as the Lakers? Second round in the playoffs would have been a good accomplishment.
