Honestly, i can accept that the media is also to blame. The sheer hype and pressure they put on Lebron makes him basically demand as many All Star players to play along side him. I am guessing that before in the 80s and 90s, a player would be given a little more room to get to his prime of 28-29 and grow with a team before the huge championship pressure hits. Since Lebron came into the league, the question has been "how can X team get enough help to get Lebron the title"? Lebron has pretty much picked up on that.

LeBron didn't win because he didn't have a top 3 PG, an elite defensive PF and SG, and the 6th MOY. You think Cleveland LeBron wouldn't have won with that team?

at all the collusion talk. Even with the "collusion" the Heat were not more talented than the Thunder or Clippers. The Heat had a case in 2011 based on their top 3--but they had nothing beyond that. They were reminiscent of the "2 deep" Lakers of the early 2000's in 11'. Beyond 2011, the Heat were never the most stacked team in their era let alone historically stacked. Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka or even Durant/Westbrook/Ibaka>LeBron/2012-2014 Wade/2012-2014 Bosh. The Clippers with Paul/Griffin/Jordan/Crawford/Reddick also have more talent--and unlike OKC or MIA have a good coach. OKC arguably has the second and third best players in the league and the LAC arguably have the third and fourth best--plus more beyond their top 2 than the Heat ever had. You also have other teams like the Rockets and Portland with multiple franchise players.

The Heat won 2 rings in 4 years and had the best record in their conference once. Yet people act as if some unbeatable juggernaut was formed. That team was in the Finals 4 years in a row. They replaced LeBron with an all-star SF and shored up their bench. So if they were stacked during the "collusion" era surely they will remain championship contenders? Right?

LeBron does indeed want to have the best roster around him. Who doesn't, though?
