Default Predict the Nets' record next season

    I'm thinking 26-56 realistically.

We won 38 with Brook Lopez missing half the season, Deron Williams isn't a big loss. I think if Brook Lopez is healthy all season it should be a possibility.

Thing is, Brook won't be healthy all season.

Your bench is downright awful. Your PG situation is a mess. You have Bargnani on your team. I can't see Brooklyn winning >30 games this year.

hi immortal nemesis-- i'm straight if that matters.

i agree with you that bella is being optimistic, but i disagree on brook and barney. not so much that they're guaranteed to fall apart, but that we just don't know. there are factors for both them dawgs that could swing the situation either way.

    re: PG situation,
i agree with you mostly, but let's not forget that the guys have moless said they really like jack as a leader and really didn't feel that way about dwill. it's a loss in the skill dept, but a win for team ball.

chances are the nets have a bad / mediocre season, and yet we will likely get to see half a dozen players get better and better as the season goes on. and for the first time in ages we're under the cap and are in position to sign some nice players next offseason when the cap expands.

this humble little season we're likely to see has the potential to set up a surprisingly good next season. not to mention, mcculough is pretty much our 1st round pick for next season, and that ain't bad.

not guaranteeing nothing (we've made lots of mistakes for sure), yet this team could STILL surprise many within a year. i mean yeah i think we should not be captain sunshine nor captain pessimissm.

but captain realism would be nice 8)

If Brook is healthy we should see the Nets having a decent season. This is not the West.

Great post gigantes and agreed Miss Bella. It all boils down to Brook. The bench is not awful... Its actually a solid young bench. It's the starting lineup that needs work.

Not sure how many wins, perhaps the same as last year.

all i know for sure is that he's a major genius and he's going to make a HUGE amount of money betting against the nets, this season.
