That's pretty awesome, but I don't see him being alone in that category for very long as today's big men like to shoot 3s

How many modern big men are going to put up 25,000/10,000/3,000? Even if we forget about the 10,000/3,000/1,000 3s, only 19 players in league history have managed to post 25,000+ points in their careers. Dirk should be alone in that category for a good chunk of time.

He's been listed as a small forward 9/12 years, a power forward 2/12 years, and a shooting guard 1/12 years. He can definitely play the 4 but he'll be remembered as a small forward.

1-4 is somewhat accurate, 1-5 is a little sketchier imo, but he'll be remembered as a 3...a versatile one, but a 3 all the same.

Anyway though, positional eligibility aside, LeBron is still 3,500 rebounds short. He's not there yet.

Either way, he could make that original list.

He definitely could make the list as a player, I just didn't agree with labeling him as a big. Barring injury he should reach 25,000/10,000/3,000/1000 3s...he'll probably create his own club, maybe something like 30,000/10,000/7,000.

Once Bran finds out there is a new statistical category he could be #1 in.......commence the statpadding. Bran will be like a prime Rodman if he reads this thread

Not to be a dick but this isn't surprising in the least bit. The common consensus around the NBA is that Dirk is the GOAT shooting big man. There isn't a debate.

He can still likely get those stats.
