More skilled at what? Better ball handler? Post up game?
I remember the same being said about T-mac. We shall see how Durant does in the playoffs when teams shadow him all game.

He's an all around player too. Un ****ing real, hasn't even peaked yet.

Very good NBA starter

Man, standards for superstar scorers are so low these days. I remember Kobe having 40+ 8 straight games and 50+ in 4 straight another year
Call me when KD averages 40 for a month

And he wasn't getting 50-75% of his points from the free throw line .
Don't compare Godbe's peak to Durant.

I agree. Best stretch of scoring we have seen since Phil Jackson said "SCORE KOBE!" after that seven game losing streak in 07:
17 games:
40.2 ppg
47.4 FG%
Nine 40+ games
Seven 50+ games

Down year?
It's called sliding out of your prime.

just a reminder of how weak this generation of scorers is
makes me truly appreciate someone like Kobe who put up 9 games of 40+ and 4 games of 50+

Re: KD has had 3+ 48pts in the past 2 weeks
Impressive for this weak era.
However, remember it is a weak era. If they played today in Durant's spot, Dantley would've averaged 45, Bernard King would've averaged 50, Bird would've had 55, Wilt 60 and Jordan as much as he wanted. Always remember, it's a weak era. Very weak.

26/7/7 on 67% TS would be a top 3 season for Kobe. Whereas, it's one of Lebron's "worst" seasons.
