No I am honestly curious how drastically Kobe's FG% is holding him back. His resume/career accolades is top five. His peak ppg/reb/ast is definitely top 7 when you take into account he is a SG. His efficiency is his main problem so I want to know to what extent does it lower fans opinion of him.

He'd actually be a completely different player. So, you're right, this thread is useless. As is your posting career here.

No, my man, you don't get bonus points for being smaller.
Jordan, Kareem, Shaq, Wilt, Hakeem, LeBron, Magic, Bird and Duncan all have a higher peak, and it's not really debatable.

Re: Kobe's all time ranking
One of the best I've seen but I can't put him above the top 6.
Other than that I think he's between 7-12 along with Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem, and LeBron. Sometimes I feel guys like West, Big O, Dr J could be mentioned among those players.

Bird: 29.9 9.3 6.1, 28.1 9.2 6.6, 28.7 10.5 6.6
Magic: 23.9 6.3 12.2, 22.5 7.5 12.8, 22.3 6.6 11.5
Kobe: 35.4 5.3 4.5, 31.6 5.7 5.4, 30.0 6.9 5.9
Hakeem: 26.1 13.0 3.5, 27.3 11.9 3.6, 27.8 10.8 3.5
I'll take Kobe just based on those three stats. It is his FG% that makes Bird, Magic, and Hakeem's peak better.
