Where would he rank if his career FG% was 50% instead of 45.4%?
Kobe is #4 all time in points, #1 overall total All NBA teams(15), #1 overall 1st team All NBA teams(11), #1 overall All NBA 1st team defensive (9), #2 overall total All NBA D(12). Kobe's cumulative accolades/longevity is undoubtedly top five. Only KAJ and MJ are clearly better. Russell is arguable but he doesn't have the cumulative stats. Imagine Karl Malone with five titles that is what Kobe basically is. If Karl had five titles he would also have a top five resume. Longevity is extremely important. The thing that is holding Kobe back is his peak play but the only real knock on his peak play is his FG%. These are Kobe's best three seasons: 35.4 5.3 4.5, 31.6 5.7 5.4, 30.0 6.9 5.9 not exactly a joke.
I have Kobe #3 all time with 50.0% FG.

6-8 if his FG goes up to 50.
Seriously, if you take 20 shots, and make ten, thats 50 percent, if you make 9 it's 45.
Even at great volume, the difference is only one shot lol.
