Yeah I think Barnes needs to get out of GS to fully reach his potential. I believe he could be a 18-22 a night type of guy offensively given the minutes. But to answer the question the Sixers shouldn't give up any of their future pieces (MCW, Noel, etc. or picks) and if thats the case the Sixers don't have much to offer.

You don't think G-State would want Thad, Hawes, and/or Turner?

I think both fit in nicely with the warriors. Both are multifaceted and shy away from being the first option.

    Lee > Thad
Iggy > Turner (even though turner is having a very good year for his standard, Iggy 'fits' GS better)
    Bogut > Hawes

Unless these guys will accept a bench role don't see them working out in GS. Hawes maybe.

Ah, yes. I heard it comes with a flying carpet as well.

Anyhow, there's a reason Collins jumped shipped and went back to ESPN. The Sixers aren't going anywhere fast.

Turner's not going to want to be a bench player and Lee is basically a better Hawes in every aspect of the game, but Thad is actually very used to coming off the bench as an energy/hustle guy and played well with Iguodala when they were together with us. I could see Thad doing good things with the Warriors, him and Iguodala would thrive in the open space created by Curry and Thompson out on the perimeter.

Hawes is better than Bogut. Hawes can stretch defenses

Depending on the pick at the end of the year, this team is gonna have a turn around like no other.

    He;s no Dequan Cook

Barnes sorta reminds me of a Ron Mercer/Reggie Lewis hybrid. I like how he can create space for his jumper, which is pretty silky.

I would trade you HB for Hawes or Young. I agree that HB could be a pretty good individual player but I don't think he really fits what the warriors need right now, which is rebounding and hustle.

    This

I love how he's developed his mid-range game. Smooth as butter. Step back, fading away from a standstill, turnaround - this kid has it all.

I like his game and he is a nice all around player, but think you are overrating him a bit here. He averaged 45%/15ppg/4.8rpg/2apg on 38mpg in Iggy's absence and thats #1 option material? I don't consider that really stepping up his game. He had the chance to shine in Iggy's absence but he didnt really do that. Curry is a phenomenal player, wants and commands the big shots and proven. Barnes seems too passive to me. He wont be a #1 option on a great team.
