We should all trust a poll of 2000 odd people in a country of 300 odd million
Sample size of 2k is enormous. It is plenty to extrapolate from.
You need to complain about how the sample was collected (i.e. not a random sample).
Nate Silver predicted all 50 states in the presidential election plus all the senate elections (34?) based on polls; not a single one of which was probably 2000+ people.

Re: Will LeBron become the villian again?
He'll get booed in NY, CHI, LA, IND, PHI, BOS, maybe MIA
The major markets outside of HOU/DAL. So probably still the villain. Plus it makes the NBA more interesting. His super team will be the teams opponents go 150% for.

Knicks all da way
Re: Will LeBron become the villian again?
Why would he be a villain? It's not like he quit and colluded and formed another stacked team

Lebron is a hero, and will be treated as such. How many players in NBA history would leave a team that made 4 straight Finals for a team that hadn't made the playoffs in 4 years?
As another poster mentioned, ESPN painted him as a hero, so that is how most will see him. Only reason he was booed in 2011 was because ESPN painted him as the bad guy, even though the Decision show was their idea. That's why Lebron went to SI instead this time.

What other top players jump ship after losing in the finals like that? Almost every top 10 is a lifer.

How long have you been watching basketball? Wilt, Kareem, and Shaq would like to have a word with you. Not even Jordan was a lifer.

Great college starter
Re: Will LeBron become the villian again?
Only way he becomes a villain again would be if he were to leave Cleveland for a second time.
His legacy would be destroyed forever.

Someone who was about to rig the system like never before, and looks at his teammates as engine parts.
