From #2 on they are interchangeable but TD's got the top spot.

put Yao up there too
he's just been gone due to injury that's all

Kobe's better and he's been better since 2001. Since 2000 the Lakers are 3-1 vs. the Spurs in the playoffs and Kobe has always been the most dominant player on the floor in those series. When you watch them it's clear who's the better player.

Go away eliteballer, you don't justify Shaq's domination in the playoffs on why Kobe is a better player.

Watch who wins as the franchise player and see who the better player is.

I would think Shaq was the most dominant in those series

Arguments over what? All 5 of those players can be argued over each other imo. I personally believe its kobe-wade-bron-nash-tmac, but wont strongly disagree with any placement of them.

Shaq was calling Kobe his idol because of his play vs the Spurs.

Lets see, in his prime duncan could take it in the post and score with better efficiency than kobe is right now. He didn't score as much because he didn't shoot that much but when u gave him the ball you knew it was going in. On top of that he 13 rebs, 4 assists and 2.5 blocks.

Kobe is a great scorer but that's pretty much it. Duncan can do that, he also gives you GREAT defense and is a great leader.

Why don't I recall that? Was it after a game Kobe went for like 13 assists and 35 points?

regardless, it means very little. Eliteballer bringing up a point where Kobe is a secondfiddle on a team beating Duncan is like me saying Tony Parker is better than Steve Nash because of the Spurs beating the Suns in the 2005 playoffs!

For the record, if you looked back at all the old articles
back when Kobe played with Shaq and Tmac played with Orlando
the media compared them to MJ (ofcourse)
and they said Kobe had the edge for being unselfish and knows how to pass to Shaq, but now? the selfish ball hogger

Honestly, our views are all biased because of the media
people who doesn't watch NBA can tell you Kobe is a ball hog, because that's how he is portrayed
same thing goes to Bron as many could tell you that Lebron is unclutch,
but many Cavs fan can pull out stats to prove you wrong

So even if Shaq called Kobe his idol, wouldn't mean much now,
because before the rape, everyone was praising him, no matter what.
he could have became the next MJ, image wise,
as in he would have been able to just do anything on the court
and wouldn't be criticized, just because of the image of Kobe being perfect

Stern is looking into Wade or Bron now, for them to be the next

Kobe is better offensively, Tim is better defensively. Overall, I would say Tim has the slight edge because of those 3 Finals MVP's. But it's very close.

*shrug* Whatever. A reference was asked for so I posted it. Dont really care how its taken. Its not like what Shaq has to say should be taken seriously anyway.
