there will never be a better duo than Kobe and Shaq, but Dragic/Gasol would do some damage with good role players around them

    Easier said than done.

If I was a GM, I'd trade all my contracts away now, tank the rest of the season for a high pick, then sign Goran, Gasol, and Kevin Love (after he opts out)...oh yeah, and gimme Lebron for that matter. Trade down with the pick and take Devon Booker+Whatever other gravy I get for the pick.

I cant think of a logical reason for Gasol to leave Memphis.

Because other teams fans want him to, isn't a good enough reason?

They're West contenders with a great fanbase and a very underrated roster. Memphis can also pay Gasol the most. People just want him on their team, it's unlikely he's leaving what he has right now. Why the **** would he go to a bottom-tier team like the Knicks or the Lakers when he has a chance to get a ring with this Memphis squad while getting paid more?
