Warriors guard Klay Thompson celebrated his new four-year contract extension with a monster performance, scoring a career-high 41 points on 18 shots in his team's 127-104 victory over the Lakers on Saturday night.
Just a day removed from signing a new deal, Thompson knocked down 14 of his 18 field goal attempts, including 5 of 7 from 3-point territory, and 8 of 9 from the charity stripe. He chipped in with five rebounds, two assists while logging 34 minutes of game action.
