Default Lord Brando is 18th in scoring.

LeBron James, the chosen Wong, is out of the top 15 in scoring.

Luckily Anthony Davis is Number 7.

    Thoughts?

    jokes aside

FG attempts are down, averaging 3 more asts than usual 11.3 vs 8.3, focussing on defense again like it's 2013

doing exactly what he's suppose to be doing in his 17th year, taking a backseat role on offense to be more of a distributor and vocal leader, improving teammates

most importantly, Lakers are #1 seed. So however Lebron has adjusted his game is exactly what need to be done at the expense of team success

    goat sacrifice

He'll end up averaging 22-24 points per game by the end of the season because we'll be managing his load at the mid-way part of the schedule, AD is a young buck and he should be given a bigger load in the RS because he's more consistent at this point of his career, Lebron can lead the league in assists and do his usual thing come Playoff time, we don't need him to average 28/8/8 and break down by April.

That's the way it should go, but potential injuries will be key.
Let's hope for an injury free season for,at least, Lakers, Clippers, Jazz, Rockets and Nuggets, the playoffs are gonna be great.

Someone always ends up getting hurt in the process, we've already seen a number of freak injuries this season. Right now the Playoffs look great though, I'm even excited to see the East with Celtics-Raptors potentially facing off in the first round, there's always the possibility that KD returns in April to play with the Nets if they're in a good place, we need a Sixers - Bucks ECF to happen as well.

Didn't KD himself say he wasn't playing at all this season?

He did to kill all expectations but I wouldn't be surprised if that happened. He didn't tear the achilles in the foot he uses to jump or push off of so he should be fine, Kobe ruptured the achilles in his dominant leg and returned in about 8 months at age 35. Rudy Gay returned from his achilles tear in 9 months.
Let's say KD returned for the Playoffs, that would be about 10 months.

Kobe is also insane when it comes to basketball. KD isn’t.

Even if he returned, I doubt he'd be 100%.
I can't help remembering Chris Webber coming back from injury for the kings and being a much worse player.

I could see LeBron completely letting go of the obsession to score and try to play a Jason Kidd / Magic Cockson type role if the Lakers had some legit scorers on their team. Probably why they are trying to get Kuzma going.

That could be the key to a showtime revival but right now they are a frontcourt heavy- defensive squad. I don't see them being an offensive juggernaut at this point.

    Lakers currently 19th on offense.

    Clippers 9th

Yeah, it may have cost Kobe some longevity too.
